Matthew
Lloyd-Wilson will be our
special guest. Aged only
11, he sang on
international TV to an
audience of over 2
billion people, and two
years later conducted his
first public concert. As
a violinist, he performed
at the Royal Albert Hall
in aid of The Teenage
Cancer Trust. Matthew has
won five Young
Musician of the
Year competitions
& four
Concerto
competitions.
For the past two years,
he has been joint
conductor of the annual
Light Music Concert held
at the British Home in
Streatham, which has
increased his knowledge
and interest in the
genre. In conversation
with Tony Clayden,
Matthew will talk about
his career and play some
of his favourite LM
pieces.
